Only problem is I'm the snail in this race, I need to get a hurry on as even the wife has noticed all my changes in direction, was a real shame to cover up all the welds, a real work of art.

A bit more progress, first test fit of the second go at the firewall, next up will be the removal of the old wiper motor mount to create space for the remote reservoirs to be mounted in the plenum, tidy up the front guard mounts and sort the trans tunnel.

Wiper Motor Relocation

Hi Chris,

Just a tip mate. Don't forget to run wiring to your wiper motor in its new location before you fit up inner and outer front guards. Very difficult to get to once it is all assembled.

Super happy with it, just a 2mm stamp so very subtle, just enough to give it a feature and also keep the theme of the ring brothers hinges. we will also make new guard mounts that mirror each other, the stock ones are not the flash. now I'm wondering what can be done with the inner guards?

Looks really good Chris. These details make the difference and you'll know each time you pop the bonnet. Can't wait to see your progress.

Still chipping away, bit more progress this arvo. Cut out the old wiper mount and patched then working away and fitting the firewall, nearly there. Seems a shame to cover up the inside
