What's your Muffler

I'm looking for some new mufflers, pretty much got my heart and money set on a pair of spintechs. What mufflers are you guys running? Any type I should be aware of before I seal the deal?

Consider Magnaflow or Flowmaster (44's).

I'm running Dynamax's and I love the sound I get from them.
Had to slap a pair of quieter mufflers on for RWC, but put the Dynamax back in as soon as the paperwork was done.

I have the straight through Redbacks with 2-1/2" H pipes. They were way too loud by themselves and had to fit resonators at the back immeadiately. I like the sound though. Sounds tuff at idle, still very loud at WOT but they don't drum at all.

Magnaflow, very happy with them. Almost went Flowmaster, but the MFs are made of better steel.

Nick,
what is the rest of your system? Are you running H pipe, X pipe or no cross over? The muffler will change some of the note, but you may want to do some other work at the same time if it doesn't sound right.
I run custom mufflers on the Camaro but I used to run Gonzos on a small block in another car and they sounded good. Being from Brissy you would know what a Gonzo car sounded like. Don't know if anyone does something equivalent atm.
Sheridan.

Magnaflows, 2.5 with x pipe, great sound but a little loud and the cops only need a small excuse to slap on a defect here in SA. Ended up putting resonators on the back and very pleased with the result.

I just picked up my spintech system, all ceramic coated, looks sweet!

Unfortunately I have to wait until I remove my ladder bars until I can fit it up to hear it.

Think I'm running 3" magnaflows, lovely note but bloody loud. I wouldn't mind quietening the car down a bit but no room for resonators.

Sheridan- I'm running huggers into a 2 1/2" with H pipe atm. Want to upgrade extractors and change to an x pipe eventually. The problem is my power steering pump is so close that I'm gonna need custom extractors.
Jordan, that's a wicked system you got there...

I've heard good stuff about borla but I havn't really heard them in the flesh.

Have 2-1/2" flowmasters at the moment (sounds a little bit "truckie" but not too bad) have a pair of 3" Hooker Aerochambers I'm considering throwing on instead..
