I think a touching tribute to honour Steve’s memory would to have his car permantly placed in the top right corner of the main page. With 11,261 posts I think it fair to say that not only was Steve a member on this forum but he was this forum.

Only met Steve once but his knowledge and finish to detail on his car was overwhelming. Read and re-read his build up on his Camaro many, many times.
RIP Steve

![]() ![]() Goes without saying everyone on USM is here for you and those closest to Steve. I'm sure a fitting tribute will be forthcoming and supported by all here when the initial shock of this tragedy has started to subside. But let's all catch our breath first. Cheers. |

Sorry to hear this. All the best to those that were close to Steve.
The messages here show the depth of this great forum and the lasting nature of the personalities that contribute. Steve was arguably the most knowledgeable and passionate member who will obviously be missed. Like many I read nearly every day but don't post much... I will endeavour to contribute more to keep the spirit alive.

I’ve been going through years of photos from events and trips away, with many more to look through. I will share them with you and on this forum soon. Steve was just a joy to have around and will be missed by so many. |

F*ck.
Never had the pleasure of meeting the man, but upon joining this forum it didn't take long to note that Steve made an indelible mark on anybody that truly gave a f*ck about pursuing their US Muscle dream. He was truly one of a kind. He had the perfect idea of what he wanted his car to be, and he had no problem helping others in their pursuit of creating their perfect car. I realise in this day and age it's probably insensitive, but a lot of people here are and will be affected by Steve's passing. No one will want to ask, but there isn't a single one of us that doesn't want to know - so I'll be that guy. How did he die?

Russ, it's been asked, but we've also been asked to keep that private so won't be disclosed.
