Weld wheels cracking/failing...

Just spoke to a mate who prompted me to go online Re. Drag Lites and Pro Stars either cracking or totally failing and it seems according to forums online it's actually something that's happened to quite a few people which is a worry. Weld claim the wheels are not for street use and I suppose this covers them against warranty claims etc. Anyone here had issues? I run both on different cars and obviously don't want any problems...

This only applies to their V Series wheels like the Alumastar and Magnum etc

Maybe you will have better luck with one of the many cheap knock off versions.

Maybe that's why they call them Weld wheels...

Have some Aluma Stars on order, should get them by December......
There is a big difference in wall thickness between the 15x 3.5 and the 17 inch front runners.
