Fitting 275's on 67 Camaro. Will they fit??

Ay guys, I've got 15" x 10" wide centreline auto drags on the rear of my car, with 6.5" back space.. I've got some 275/60's Mickey t et's that I wanna put on.. I'm concerned that the wheels are gonna rub on the bottom of the shocker (shocker has not been relocated). Can anybody help in letting me know if it's gonna fit or not? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I have run them on a 15 x 8 1/2 centerline, not sure on 15 x 10 though.

Not 100% on the Fords, but I think they are x 4.5", the Chev is 5 x 4.75"

Are the 15x10s fitted up? I've also got 8.5s with 4 7/8 backspace & is mighty close to the shock bracket. 6.5" bs on 10s doesn't see like it would stand a chance?

I tried 10s for fitment, but still a 5" bs, so stuck out more - 'Stinkbug' look wasn't my thing, so moved them on.

Ford pattern is different to Chev/HQ. As a side note, I've got some 275/50 & 275/60 you can borrow for test fitment if need. Cheers, Deano

No they aren't interchangeable, different stud patterns (from the factory anyway, unless the Camaro has a retrofit 9" with revised stud pattern)

Ah thanks heaps for the feedback guys very helpful! It is only a 245 60 that I have on at the moment and it's nearly touching. I think im just asking a stupid question the more I think about it now lol. Nah deano I haven't fitted up the 275's to the 15x10's yet I've still got the 245's on them. Looks like I'm going to have to chase up some 8" wide rims with either 4.5 or 4.75 bs. It's got a 12 bolt diff in it nev.. So would be normal Camaro stud pattern wouldn't it? If yous know of anyone who wants 10" polished autodrags and has 8 or 8.5's with the correct back spacing let me know haha

The only way 15 x 10's with 275 will fit is with mini tubs.

I had 275 x 60 TA's on the back of my car on 8inch pro stars and a 12bolt diff so they do fit also my car is quite low and they were fine.
I am looking at selling wheels and tyres as they don't fit with my brakes now they have been upgraded.

Baz had them on his yellow 68 with flare work, but also squeezed 15x10 Welds in on his old blue one with some minor shock mount mods (I think from memory...)

I run 18 x 9" with 5.375" backspace rim on rear with 275/40 tyre, had to roll the fender lip a little. Very little room on inner wheel well
