Tire performance
Gday,
Looking for some feeding regarding tire performance grip and handling. I have a original set of rally rims 14x7. Leaning towards 225x60x14. Any suggestions with brands and model number? Thank you. |

I am running HanKook SuperDynamic 235/60/14 radials on my GTO. Great tyres, good mileage & these have raised white lettering.
Tyres can be turned around if you don't like the lettering. These are a few years old now, price was very reasonable. Not a lot of choices in 14 inch now. |

Im running Nankang tyres, they seem pretty good so far, and also reasonably priced.

Gday,
Thanks for the advice lads. Good grip in the wet? Sticks when you put your foot down? Cheers. |

You won't get anything fancy in that size range.

I never push my luck in wet weather, but I have no complaints about the Hankooks on the odd occasion I get caught in the rain.
As for dry grip when you push it......these tyres are good when new, but like almost all tyres, once they get some miles on them, the heat hardens the rubber & some grip is lost. |

Some good advice. Thanks Javelinman and Geoff 4.
Defo pretty limited with the rim size. Running a big block and sliding around a little with size I have at the rear. More into factory specs. Cheers. |

Check out some Bridgestones in that size as they have reasonable wet weather grip.
