Noisy Magnum T56

So after 1500miles the noise comming from my Magnum T56 has gotten very loud.
It only makes the noise when in neutral and clutch not ingaged as soon as i press the clutch down noise goes away.
It sounds like a grinding type of noise
Its not the thrust bearing as its pushed away from the pressure plate.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

We have a similar issue with one we fitted in a sigma. Mal Wood keeps saying it's normal.

Does it have an inspection cover?
Just to be able to check that the thrust bearing isn't just grazing the fingers on pressure plate, and getting a little rattle on due to not having load on it?
