Cool Greg
Do you still have them? huh? huh?
To be honest, I doubt you would have noticed 185s over 180s. 10mm longer stroke but more leverage. 180s I think were the inbetween size of what was available it seemed. Most one piece cranks were 170-ish and I have Suginos on my DB Senior Pro.. I can't tell!

Unfortunatly all of my BMX stuff was still at my parents house when I had a big falling out with them some years ago. I am not certain, but I believe that it all would have been thrown out at some stage. I had a lot of bits and pieces left over from racing, and also from having been sponsered and working at several bike shops over the years.

I remember having a set of cranks (Japanese brand?) that were adjustable in length. They had an eccentric setup at the pedal end of the crank that allowed you to change the length from 170 to 185. I suppose they are now worth a fortune as well

Ah well, live and learn. Maybe that is why I am such a hoarder now, I don't want to throw anything away these days. Drives my wife mad

Yes, I had a set of cranks those too. Chunky and anodized blue, red or gold.
Can't remember the brand.. Maybe they were Shimano..
..and yes, people are paying some money for them now..

Recognize these? They were fairly well known in their day.

Wrong pedals though, these are USA made Revcores that I love and will probably never replace with the correct HLTs.

This is my HLT with new OE design pads, and my DB Senior Pro, but with custom design pads to match the decals.

I just recently bought the pair of Kashimax Five Gold suede seats for them too. The HLT suede seats are the same seat. A Kashimax Five Gold, but are rare, hellishly expensive and usually worn/damaged. These non-DB logo seats are still available new.

Still need to build the right 7X wheels and do a few things.. Got most of the stuff as you can see in the corner.
Still got the other 2 DBs to get started on too, like..

I just started my son out at our local track, he dosent have a race bike yet, just bought him one of these

http://tbsm.com.au/index.php?main_pa...oducts_id=6496

for his 7th birthday so he can test the waters and make sure he likes it, whilst still having a bike he can take to the skate park also. He is kind of an in between size, almost too big for a junior size, but not quite big enough for an expert.

Here is a photo of me and my new 26-inch Mongoose KOS Kruiser that I took yesterday. It is a re-make of the original bike from back in the day...

I also bought my brother one as a surprise for his birthday - I let him ride mine around at his panel shop and then let him know that is was actually his. He was over the moon about it :-) I gave it to him for all of his hard work on my Mazda & Valiant...

Btw, the bike is AWESOME! Such a great ride compared to my 'little' GT :-)
