69 Camaro front & rear brake shoes

Hi guys,

I'm going to replace my brake shoes on my 69 camaro with drums all round.
Do the front and rear use the same shoes?
I am looking at these ones on ebay:
Ebay Brake Shoes

Thanks
Shaun

Dunno about Cameros but fronts are usually wider

Great crowd to deal with

I think you'll find the fronts are 2 1/2" wide & the rears are 2".
If you're interested, I've just done a front disc conversion on my Skylark, so have complete front brakes, including the uprights available.
Wheel cyls are stainless sleeved. Would be lucky to have done 3000 miles.
Ditto the bonded linings. Drums are probably at/over max oversize though.
Got the old booster & a stainless sleeved master cyl too.
PM me if you're interested.

Cheers,

Chris

Make sure you get the drums machined or at least check the wear size ( professional brake places will do that for you) as its no point putting on new standard shoes if they in fact need 1/64th or 1/32 oversize.. will only result in hot spots. If wanting to be sure of a better result.. get the new shoes radius ground to suit the drums.
