I think the 2nd gens look great in the PT guise.

In my opinion, and it is just that, 1st gens look too aggressive in standard form to pull it off (all in the hips I think).... 2nd gens have a sleeker look that accentuates the PT look and better fulfill the criteria for this style of build.

Am looking forward to this also. I think i need a better job.

I took some photos of Camaros while at Powerplay a few months ago, and asked the missus which one she liked best as I've always wanted a 69' but the more I look, the more I'm torn between a gen 1 or gen 2. She chose gen 1, so I guess that's what I'll go with haha.

Keep the pics coming!

One day maybe haha, but since I like both, whichever suits my budget will be the one I get :P

I'm happy to read up on everyone elses builds though, I still get excited at people's progress, might have to come to a meet sometime and see them in the flesh, or steel I should say :P

Mmmmmm Very nice eye candy! Works for me one of each. Interesting to see what happens in the coming years with GM stating they will start bringing in caddies etc. hopefully the new camaro is on the list. A betting man would have to say they'd be priced somewhere near an HSV. Wouldn't mind a newbie to go with my 2nd gen, don't think the wife would complain.

Yes, awesome car but very purpose built for autocross and quick

I like some of the styling cues, but the flared guards are not for me.

Yes, this one will remain LHD. So much easier for what I have in mind

Took the C10 over to Classic Custom Imports to pick up remaining boxes of goodies, forgot to yake a shot with tray full of boxes.

The best car show in Melbourne was at CCI today, got lots of nice cars there for sale and quite a few drop ins there.

A local bloke bought a very tidy Black 69 Rally Sport Camaro from them, club reg had been sorted and he was there to pick it up. You could just feel his excitement & happiness, he was buzzing. It is amazing the effect these cars can have.

Once again the guys at CCI did a great job, 18 separate items, all good as gold. Very bloody reasonable cost .

OK so now to organise next lot of items, for when body shell has been completed, to get mechanicals all sorted.

...and you can get rego in Vic with the level of mods you are planning?

I think I already know the answer and it's going to make me a little envious

Who have you got for engineering Roger?
Love the gen2 in pro-touring theme, they posses an awesome style about them.
Dale Ernhardt Jnr has a really nice PT gen2 as well.
I'll be watching your thread with great anticipation.
