Going to look sweet Gaz. Nice job in hiding the splits? Are they pointing straight down ? Just asking cause it will affect the sound quality.

15x8's all round

I don't like staggered rims. Looks stupid. I think it looks better when the tyre profile is staggered, not the rims.

Staggered rims are too noticeable and makes the car look out of proportion. Staggered tyres is subtle.

But that's only looks ... no idea on what's better performance wise.

Just gonna put here first as going away next week for 3 weeks to Hong Kong...

Ill have two motors up for grabs pick up only though.
Both stripped down chasing 400 each.

1. 307 chev
2. 350 2 bolt aswell.

More details to come or pm if needed asap. 307 looks decent no lip in bores no carb.. 350 needs a sleeve in one atleast n comes with standard carb.

Both are unknown to me when they were ran last.

It should be a non-vented cap.

Only Impala wagons in '65 needed vented caps, as they had differing tanks - filler neck was towards the side rather than the rear behind the number plate.

BMW M3s, Porsche 911s, Ferraris etc. all have staggered rims.

I would have thought this would make them understeer rather than oversteer, but if those guys and others are doing it, there must me a good reason.

Cheers,
Frank.

My X5 has 285's at the back and 275's at the front, pain in the backside. I am going to put those rims on my holden adventra for a while

Maybe its a case of: when real difference of innovation then make all cars staggered and have the racing look. I wonder whats next, lets start a craze with skinny tires being cool....
