They do look awesome, great job, you'll have to tell me your secret as I haven't been able to get that level of "shine"...just using the standard filters / tone maps and haven't played with the sliders yet...

Wombat's looks great

Hey Nev...

Just done with one pic in Photoshop.

I have been using a combo of a number of ways. Including under and over exposing the picture, and playing with a number of filters and overlays.

I find it always works best when the main object is in good light.

Thanks a heap Nate.. Looks like I have a moustache!

This pic was taken on the Eastern Fwy in '99 I think, -on the way to the All American Day held in Flemington. That's my good friend Rod in the 67 (a fully-optioned 350 RS-SS) making the hand gesture.

Si Señor

Happy to have a crack knocking out some more of these for others. PM me.

Keep in mind, I am no expert and am just playing around.

I do like the HDR but agree with some others that it can be overdone but its a cool technique nevertheless!
I had a play with it a few times and when you set the camera on a tripod the photos can come out amazing.. the following pics were done with 3 pictures overlaid on each other.. nice and subtle

If over-done is to the point where it looks like a drawn picture, I think that's what I really like.
I like the high definition, but the effect of animation is what I love.
