Onya. (Gotta get mine going!!)

Rgds,
Nev

Thanks Nev,

Grabbed a permit and went cruising today... $12.55 for 48 hours which covers you for third party injuries and Shannons upped my policy for the same period to drive her...

The missus and I went for a bit of a run and she goes real nice!!! Didn't think it would have so much poke from the 350. Has heaps of compression and runs sweet....

Looking forward to tomorrow's cruise too........

Mitch

Thanks Mitch,
I inherited the 808 coupe when my grandmother passed away. She had it since 82. Done 67k miles. She runs the original 1600 and 4 speed manual. Everything is original except paint, side mirror, wheels and suspension.

Mitch, from one Perth 68 Camaro owner to another, congrats on getting the Camaro going. I enjoyed watching your vids! Nice ride and I love the plates. Reminds me of the black Camaro out of Better Off Dead.

No real updates from me except to that my court summons for my 'replica or immitation' plate was waiting for me when I returned home from work and I am due in court on the 7th of January... YAY lucky me! http://www.austlii.edu.au/au/legis/w...74111/s97.html

On a good note, my floorpans are getting closer to arriving on Aussie shores and I had a call from the photographer that shot my Mazda for PSC Mag and apparently Fast Fours wants to feature it as well. So I better pull my finger out and finish off the boot properly and stick my bigger turbo on it... as he wants to do the shoot next break.

Well, I can't say i've done all that much however I did replace the starter motor with a high torque jobby and it soooo much better. I was having problems with the other one as it just wouldn't stay in position. It kept pushing away from the flex plate no matter how tight the bolts were.

The new starter came with it's own birth cirtificate and dyno sheet... It has 9KW of stump pulling starting power according to the dyno sheet

I also took the old girl to my panel repairer/painter for him to give it the once over and then we can formulate a plan of attack. At this point were in two minds in which direction I should head. At this stage it's a matter of discussion and we'll probably make a decision after Xmas...

I also sold my rotor last week, so I now have the room to start pulling bits apart and since my floor pans have landed in Australia that might be the first port of call.

I wish I could chuck a BB in there!!! She's going to remain relatively stock in the mojo department for the time being...

Floor pans have been sent from QLD to Perth by road and shoulda been here but there is a heap of flooding on the road down so they are slightly delayed. I ordered shock mount repair sections for the rear as well and they should be arriving very shortly too.

The only other thing I've done to the car is looked at it...

I replaced the front tyres as they were a bit shabby and have purchased a new set of twenties for the rear as they were OK but not new

The Mrs bought me a set of billet flamed rockers and breathers for XMAS and she just ordered a 15" Billet Oval Flamed AirCleaner for my B'Day as well. These are all sitting in the boot awaiting fitment.

So I suppose the plan of attack from here would be to rip into the floor pans and sort that side of things out. I still don't really have any idea of how I am going to go about rebuilding the car as yet. I'm just happy with the fact that I've got one sitting in the garage

As in Joe Cool aka Cheech? He's a heavy duty fitter? Had a white 808 sedan?
