It's getting closer, it will be interesting to see the details and if this actually works......here's hoping

Yay! One step closer, now to find a car club that will be the hard part as I would like to be in a multiple marque club rather than a one manufacture one.

Our system is crap. Only allowed 25km from home base unless it's a club lodged run. When you live 20km out of town it's not good.

Here's hoping. SA definitely deserved some love on the car front though. I was wrong as well we are only allowed 15km from home base��

I think we are blessed here in Vic. The scheme here is certainly one of the better ones, but it requires constant vigilance as many screw it up through abusing it and the lawmakers are always ready to modify it in ways that remove some of the good aspects. It takes an ongoing vocal community to keep it in viable shape

Yeah I get scorned when I say I want a better system. A lot of guys up here boast how they've never been pulled up. They don't seem to comprehend the ****storm that will descend on them if they have an accident outside the rules. The 90 day thing would suit most enthusiasts perfectly.

90 days is a good deal and being able to have a bit more freedom with your car is a good deal as well yeah i hope nobody screws it up here either full rego in sa is bloody expensive for a car that doesnt get out muck
