I also change engine oil at 5000 miles, but that takes 1-2 years for me.

Yeah, it's really easy to keep a low profile in a '72 Pontiac convertible with peeling paint. I blend right in...

1 car probably better for the bank balance but i think my car would to much of a pita to drive every day especially for road trips I like my mod cons

Geoff4 i was under the impression that stretching oil changes to 2 years was a bridge too far?

Well, that's why I drive why I drive what I drive. I wanted a convertible that was 'loaded' and of course American. My ragtop has power steer, power windows, power convertible top, power door locks, power boot release, tilt steering column, 6 way power seat, climate control A/C and EVERYTHING works.

Camaro = every 5000 Ks, but that thing is pig rich and puffs a lot of black smoke, it's fuel in the oil. which I will eventually fix...but that's why I'm saving lots of $$$$$....for it's upgrade

Buick, being my daily I change oil every 10,000, about twice per annum. It doesn't burn oil at all, and filter is very clean each change. I've even thought it could go longer without to much of an issue, but will stick with 10,000. I only run HPR30 in it
