I've given myself 12 months for the build, and the tear down starts next week. Wish me luck.
Hey Darren,
Just read your thread start to finish and is sensational work. May not have hit that 12 month target, but as you approach the three year mark in a couple of months you're on the very final home stretch now and must be stoked! Awesome journey and can't wait to see the finished product.. as I'm sure you can't . BTW - Colour scheme is stunner. Cheers.

Thanks Deano. Yeah, didn't quite hit the 12 month mark, but that's OK.

The car is currently back at the body shop getting some panel alignment, touch ups and front and rear screens fitted.

Thanks for checking in.

Update

OK. Bit of a delay at the body shop, but I guess that's no surprise to you all. So I collected the car while they clear their job list so that I can tackle more of the finishing touches.

My Fesler door jamb vents and strikers arrived last night. Although you don't see them much, and only when the door is opened, I really like the added finishing touch they provide.

Still working on my list.

Thanks for checking in.

Cold Air Induction

Hi guys,

Have been waiting for my cold air induction kit to arrive and I fitted it today. I think it looks great. I wanted something different and wanted it more for show rather than performance, but we'll see how it goes.

What do you guys think?

Good move, looks nice.

Beats me why more people don't use cold air induction. It is free hp & helps reduce detonation, a win-win....

Very cool Darren. Really gives the engine bay a unique personality!

And for kids events can dress it up to look like the dude 'Art' from Monsters University!
