Camaro chambered exhaust

Hey all - anyone running the old style first gen chambered system? Repro's being done by a few shops in the States - sound awesome and loud Legal here?

Peter is this a questions for Australia ? This forum is mostly Aussies and can comment on Australian legalities, which is for most states 96Db and the dump point of the pipe. But if the question is with regards to USA this is probably the wrong place to ask

GM discontinued this system mid production because it didn't meet legal noise regulations.

Personally. Stiff sh!t. Just run it. Way cool.

Peter the Gardner system is the best reproduction currently available, and well worth the extra price over the competitors. But if you can, talk to as many owners as you can, and listen at shows - some find the 'Rice Krispie' sound (snap, crackle and pop) of chambered pipes too much, and prefer a milder dual system with an x or h pipe, like a magnaflow.
