Love it. Do you think the steam lines are worth the hassle and cost. Did mine, but it was a pita. Have read so many conflicting opinions.

Yes Lyndsay it was a PITA but i had a few issues to resolve.
- I have a bracket at the back of the head that holds the fuel reg and trans dipstick so i had to find something to fit underneath it.
- I want to hide as much pipework as possible
- I don't want a steam line running out to the radiator
- The factory lines are dog ugly
- Im extremely OCD
There's a few different opinions about what to do with these streamlines, this is just my version.
If my engine builder's happy....im happy

It was actually cheaper to do it this way than to buy the stainless hard line set - another bonus.

More stuff set up this week.
Rocker covers are temporary for the dyne only, nice pretty ones coming later.
IAC block & valve to be piped up under the manifold.
Have to remove the sump & windage tray to slot a hole for the dipstick - 'made to fit' ... pigs butt!!
Prime the oil system and its nearly ready for the dyno.
Then maybe start on the injection mock-up, not sure what size yet??

Been too busy with work so lost some momentum over the last couple of months.

But heres where I'm up to and the plan going forward....
Mock up stage about 2 years ago.

Heres the Hiram plenum lid....

Heres what i did to it....

Then we'll mill up a flat 20mm aluminium plate and weld into the top of the plenum base, machine some rebates, landings and ports for the butterflies and linkages and make it look all fancy.

Add 2 sets of these in 50mm.

And Bob's our uncle...onto the dyno
