Absolutely, organised way back in late August, built September and finally here. Didn't really worry me as I spent a major part of the year away from home. More goodies are also on there way, Santa shouted me a Ricks tank, Kindig door handles, door skins and a new cowl top.

Gotta love receiving shipments
![]() Just paint the frame with Easy-Phos - protects it but keeps the bare steel look ![]() And Kindig handles = too cool my man

Bit more progress tonight, I must say this is killer stuff, very impressed with the ease of install. I only had to slightly file the powercoating to get the shock bolts in.

Now that's food for thought, will need to figure out door locks now, good old WA isn't very flexible

the whole speedtech install on mine, including the LS conversion stuff was a breeze, everything just fit and no clashes with anything.
Will drive like its on rails once its done

Round 2 of the metal work is finally underway, the panelbeater has been coming to my place and we have made some great progress in the last few weeks. First up is creating space for the mufflers so out with the rear seat floor panels and in with the new.
This had a flow on effect to the rear floor sections as the exhausts have no way to enter the mufflers now that they are tucked up out of the way, added to that is the DSE chassis connectors, so the lot had to go. Where possible the joints are either at an original seam or hidden, the idea is that at first glance the new floor sections appear to be factory, although heat shields will be installed above the mufflers, we also added beads in keeping with the current floor. The rear floor sections are on hold for now as the new focus is the firewall which will be removed shortly, once that's replaced the subframe can be reinstalled along with the chassis connectors and finish up the rear floors. The panels will be tacked in then the car will go to his place for final welding. |

Looking good. I’m probably going to steal the idea to recess the rear floor for mufflers!

Sure is nice and roomy, mufflers sit about 10mm lower than the chassis rails, absolutely Sean, go hard!
