Barn find zee
Well, here we go again........
Dropped thru on a mate who brings in Camaros couple of months ago and asked what he was up to, and said told me he had just got back from the US. "actually, I have something that may interest you!" Apparently last regoed in 1987.....the second owner who pulled the 302 and luckily put it aside, and dropped in a 427. He then stripped down for painting, and sat since then. Has a bunch of rare options, including speed warning, tilt steering, enduro front bumper, AMFM push button radio, and the killer is the U46 light monitoring system (only 1450 Camaros had this) Came with full documents including every rego since 1969 to 1987, window sticker, protecto plate etc......awesome to find!!! Matching numbers motor, box etc Even came with the original wheels AND tyres including the spare which is like new! Photos are great, Iphone, as it is now, and got a bunch of photos of it prior to and during the strip down....will post some more later ............here it is..........

Only 10,000 Camaros (69s only) had the cowl hood as an option.. Out of the 248,000 built, that's 4 in every 100. Besides, this car looks to be a September 68 build.. Cowl hoods weren't available until about Jan 69. ![]() Awesome find. Please be fussy with it. ![]() |
