*UPDATE* Pro Tour 69 Camaro

So starting a new thread as I didnt like the layout of the last one.
Hopefully this is a bit clearer and in order.
This is where we started

Bought in Australia, too much $$$ for the amount of bog in it... 80's paintjob, bring your own mullet and pump up shocks.

The strip down begins.

After sodablasting...not pretty at all

Off to Tims/Dirtbags for a facelift

Repairs, repairs and more repairs

This is the short version- see Tims/Dirtbags thread De-rusting a 69 Camaro for more pics- By the end of its stay at Tims, it had floorpans, boot pans, tailight panel, sills, qtrs, tubs replaced, anything connected to the above panels was fixed or replaced, flat firewall was done, doors fixed, guards, chassis rails, and lots of other small parts...
It then looked like this

Then it was time to finish body work and start bolting on the goodies

TCI 4-link, All alloy Donovan engine, brodix heads, cola crank, h-beams, D1SC procharger, 5spd Tremec, 330mm brakes, Tubular arms, 9inch, rack and pinion conversion, 18inch Rushforths Rated X's etc etc
Got most of the frontend done today, hopefully the rest done tommorow and some pics of the car rolling on Rated X's!!

More updates to come

Will be interested to see how it goes with the procharger. I'm toying with the idea of an f2 on mine. You are at the fun bit now of assy. Good luck with it, looking great so far.

Thanks Fella's,
It's sort of coming together now I have been flat out at work the last 6 months (to buy the parts) just having sometime off to piece together the parts I got and measure up some more so I can order them from the states.
Tim with any luck the car should back your way end of this year to get the dash, rear end and the hardlines for the car if you are up to it.
And the colour at this stage will be a custom bright blue.

Wow, it's frightening to see what looks like a super nice car ultimately having sooo many hidden issues under the paint.......
Your car is going to be awesome when you've done it all (properly this time!)

Some long overdue updates

So some pictures of progress in no particular order...

2. Moser M9 with wavetrac & 35 spline axles, willwood 4 piston brakes all mounted to a 4 link conversion.

3.RS converted front end, Fesler billet headlight doors and electric headlight door (normally vac operated)

4.Rushforth rated X 18 x 9" rims (front) corvette 355 rotors 6 piston monoblocks and some cut fingers...
