Sub-Frame Connectors

Hi All,

Bit of a silly question maybe but I'm struggling to find a simple yes or no answer.

Are Weld in Sub-Frame connectors legal or not in Victoria? I had been told that once an engineer signs off you're good but now I've had one engineer tell me it's just a no & one tell me that he'll sign them off once the install is correct.

Anyone got any clues? It's so frustrating that engineers here in Vic seem to have different understanding/views on the ADR rules.

Thanks

I live out in the Western Burbs of Melbourne & I picked an engineer based out this direction as I assumed closer than the eastern burbs would be handy, but I'm not impressed with him (won't put his name on here for obvious reasons), said no to a lot of things that I've seen on the road registered today

The guy who did my convertible is not on Vic Roads list, probably retired (google, VASS List Report - VicRoads)

I used Bonneville for C10, also he had an early look at the DSE stuff for 70 Camaro and was happy with it.He has now moved over to the north. Was good to deal with.
