When it came in from the US it was black. The owner over here did not like it in black so paint stripped it but then bought a Camaro instead which is when I bought it. Somebody in the US bogged the side flutes up, dont know why because they were all okay once blasted.

The only place the bow tie badge is required, is on the important part & I wouldn't have it any other way

Just ordered a vacuum pump to see if I can get the brakes working a bit better. My second motive is to be able to hold it back when trying to stall it up. Trying to work on my 60' some.

nice car, i like your thread gives great detail about what you have done and the quarter mile times.

What differrence has the TCE 4000rpm convertor done for you?

The TCE converter was about $1100 & the old one was about $600. With no other changes it ran 4mph & 4 tenths better. On the street the new converter even though 4000 stall is a much nicer converter. On a slight hill at idle I can take my foot off the brake & it will start to drive off, whereas the old converter would not do that, this converter flashes up much higher than the old one when I nail it but just cruising around it will happily drive along without slipping & being a PITA. At the track between gear changes it will hold the revs above 5000 so it is always up in the engines power range. The extra $500 from a cheap converter to a good converter is well worth it IMO.
