Sweet man, just not wanting you to double up on work.

I was over at the speedtech shop & stayed at Jays place a few months back when I went to Sema, real nice shop and his Camaro is a beast!
He will take care of you and then some!

Oh awesome! I'll have to get over to the states one day myself and visit a few shops.

He's already been a massive help with everything, he's over in Perth late Feb I believe, definitely owe him a beer or two i think.

Bit more progress, done as much of the floor as i can, also painted the underside of the dash, parcel shelf and rear firewall in a semi gloss black. Will all be covered in dynamat anyway but a layer of nice clean smooth paint doesn't go astray.

Also used sikaflex 227 to seal up all of the panel seams, messy stuff! Didn't turn out too bad, i just need to go around with a razor blade and cut off any stringy bits.

Rust repairs will be finished next weekend hopefully, and i might take a saw tot he firewall as well if i have time, that will be a nerve racking experience haha!

Bit of progress, lower cowl area has been patched, sealed and the replacement panel welded in. Also quite proud of my seam sealing job, came out super neat. Ill be doing the same to the opposite side.

Also removed the firewall ready for a nice flat piece to replace it with a bead rolled pattern, the wiper motor hole will be filled in and the motor will be relocated behind the guard on the firewall where the 'X' is.

Parts shipment due this coming week, hopefully won't take too long to clear customs.

Hi guys,

Would like to use a rotisserie to coat the underside of my Camaro and bend up any brake lines etc, which means i only need the thing for a month or so max.

I can't really justify spending a grand on a new one just for a few months time.

Does anyone in WA have one laying around i could possibly borrow for a little bit?

Happy to pay in booze / cash / etc.

Also happy to set a deadline if you're worried about it never getting back to you.

Big score! Picked up a set of forgeline GA3Rs second hand for a great price. The offsets are to suit VE commodores so all i have to do is order a set of outer barrels to suit 315/335 tyre combo on the Camaro. Stoked!

Awesome! Thats the next big purchase for mine...A set of custom Forge's I may be waiting a while though cause they aren't cheap and rarely do you find them second hand like this! Good score!

It was set to be one of my biggest purchases so I'm glad ill be able to almost half the price over a brand new set.

Check out the lateral G forum from the states, Forgeline have once a year 20% off sales and other sales throughout the year.

So a few days ago the post man came

Which contained some great bits of gear.

and finally a beautiful piece from speedtech, it will be a shame to paint it but it just wont match the theme of the car.

My large order of parts including the subframe and torque arm also arrived today, ill be mocking up the parts for a display on Sunday at the Cruisin Automotive open day.

Hopefully get up there tomorrow to start un packing / dummy assembling.

Looks like you're in the right direction. I love those forgeline GA3R's. Wish I can find a set of used ones.

Not much to update, car is currently away having mini tubs, fire wall and a few little bits and pieces touched up.

All of my parts have also arrived...

Got a little bored and pieced together the front spindle, brake setup and threw it under a rim for a look. Love how the brake caliper fills out the entire wheel

Whilst the car is away i will focus on getting all of the suspension parts and driveline painted, that way i can mock up the motor and trans on the subframe with the rad support and work out where im going to run all my cooler lines ( trans, oil, P/S )
