Hugger Orange 69 Z28 clone

hi guys newbie member here.
I purchased this 69 Z28 clone a couple of weeks ago.
Solid car , just needs a few loose endes tidying up before she gets Rego'd.
its got a Small block 350CI 330HP 4bolt crate motor & a Turbo 350 gearbox 10bolt rear.
Ive been out of the modified car game for a few years, getting back into the cruise thing.

Plans at the moment are to clean up the engine bay & give it a detail, new bushes ball joints etc in the front end.
New Shockies n brake pads etc.
I plan a scrub up inside, debating weather to get new foam for the orignal seats or fit something else.
Going to add Vintage Air AC/Heater demister possible power windows. Looking to find a suitable steering S/Column so I can hve the wipers n light controls on the column.
For now the engine & G/Box will do looking at new rubbers in the windows & in the subframe mounts.
here she is with a basic clean up.

Welcome Alan and congrats on that awesome '69! About the best 15" stance I've seen on a Gen1 (along with Blackout). What are the wheel & tyre diameters/profile? Don't mess with that height with the new shocks Enjoy!

Congratulations Alan.

Saw this car at Bill's and if I didn't have my '71 was tempted to buy it myself. Nice example, love the colour and the taillight blackout too.

Agree with Deano - great stance. Wouldn't touch it.

Keep us posted on what you do with it. But most of all....enjoy it!

Good looking ride.
An HZ - WB column looks (in theory) like it might fit (with a little work) in a camaro.
And If you decide to change the seats, send me a message, a mate's after a pair for a firebird.
Cheers
Dave

Thanks guys, the stance seems about right, no planned changes there..
Its pretty solid n tidy just a few daggy ends....im a bit fussy.
Deano, Ive been so busy I cant remember what they are. its at the Mechanics atm gettin front end done, Ill have to check.
Anyone know where is a good place to get a new heater control ?? mines got one knob missing & seems to be so stiff it doesnt work...??
Any tips n tricks you guys can think of ???
Im right into Photography n photographing cars so when its cleaned up n rego'd Ill get some good pics of it.
I cant wait to mount my Camera Rig on it n get some Rigged shots...
Im heading to Dallas, Charlotte LA & Vegas in October n November , Checking out Detroit Speed n Engineering in Moorseville near Charlotte might be tempted to bring back some bits, then heading to LA for a few days n Vegas for SEMA,
I can only imagine what Ill end up with if I cant control myself.

Not sure how long its been painted for.
Bill was a bit light on for info...
Not a show car but a good solid car, I think its a good starting point for a clean street car.

If the car has headers, save yourself time before going for blue slip and check ground clearance to the collectors.
