Thanks Nev.
You are right, at least I won't have to worry about what might appear 2 years down the track.

Yep, you start fixing one thing & then find 10 more you are not completely happy with
Maybe should get this moved to Build Ups now....

some progress. AMD Quarters, & some other sheetmetal should be here in 2 weeks. Mark at Allbrite will get stuck into it then, starting with a full floor replacement & partial flat firewall.
Subframe, subframe connectors, leaf springs, Lee steering box & diff will be painted in the next week. Some parts painted, see below:

Quick update, been waiting on a certain Perth based importer to deliver my new quarters, truck floor, radiator support + many other items since mid 2016. After many lies he still has not delivered the goods. He told me on no less than 3 occasions he had them in his possession & would be delivering them in a few days. I will save the story for another post once I am able to recover these items...

I since had to reorder the parts & get them air-freighted at great expense. Final major body item to be delivered next week is a new firewall then body work & paint will progress rapidly from there.

In the meantime front & rear ends have been stripped, painted & reassembled. Rear end is a Moser housing with Detroit Truetrac centre, 3.55:1 gears & Global West springs. Front end includes all new ball joints, tie rods, poly control arm bushes etc, Hotchkis springs, Lee/Speedtech 12:1 steering box. New front & rear Wilwood dust-boot calipers to come. Images below:

Looking good Jason,
tough break with the shipping mob - I've also had issues with dedicated freighters too, really upsets the balance of enjoying a build.

Thanks Justin.
Fortunately I have not had too many drama's with shipping before. Shipping delays do happen which I accept but this guy has outright lied on many occasions. So far it has cost me an extra $6K is parts replacement & air freight due to this clown. Now he cannot afford to take possession of a container that landed in Fremantle in January. He has been asking customers for loans as the shipping & customers clearance businesses he has dealt with in the past will not give him any credit due to past history & lies....story for another post
