Ok, so i have decided to wait until the new wheels and tyres are fitted but im really leaning towards only doing the 427 motion performance bonnet vinyle and then leave it at that for now.

Anyway hear some pics of the wheels and other goodies that have arrived.
I had wheels made by Ajax in custom offsets. Rear wheels are 15x10 fronts are 15x6. I won't be fitting the outer trim just the centre cap.

I like your style with the wheels, it will look great with White paint work. Th400 from Raceglides will do the trick. Are you still going Autronic Fuel injection on the BBC?

Hi Ben, i agree i think the black wheel and big profile tyres will suit the full size chev.
I am going with Autronic and managed to buy a complete system brand new never used out of the USA on ebay. Worked out to be 2/3 price of brand new in Australia, it was a lucky find.

Just finishing of the mock up of all brackets etc for the factory aircon. There is a bit of cut and shut for the aircon and alternator brackets due to the inlet manifold.

Hi Frank, the caps fit ok and look a treat on the black wheels. Looking forward to catching up at the next coffee meet.

Ben, the manifold is victor efi, I think the throttle body is from EFI hardware and my injectors I will find out about. The guy who is doing the install and tune has purchased the gear.

Thanks Justin, it's a very basic wheel no real bling but I hope it works with the white body color.

Next week start on the rear end mods to fit the big tyres in.

Finished the chassis mod and fitted the rear wheels, these are a big tyre 29 x 12.5 and the Impala still manages to make them look small. Anyway im happy with the fit and i can still use my wheel arch trims.
This was a trial for car stance but cant complete until new engine is fitted, the car sits a bit too low but i prefer it looking flatter rather than rear end up which is what it was like.
I am thinking around another 3/4 to 1" raise from where it sits now both front and back.

Thanks Frank, i think it will look good, the mental image i had of the make over is going to work.
I am fitting a Hotchkis stabalizer bar kit front and rear and new springs front and rear to be a bit firmer and cut a bit of the body roll out. (not that its a corner carver anyway)

Not sure on MOSC yet! Are you heading out there?

I like it, black on white is very tough, but as you said needs to raise a inch. Are you running long wheel studs? and will they fit under the 67 hub caps?

Just using standard wheel studs so no issue with caps.
I have to raise car as bump stop clearance is too close and even though i'm stiffening the suspension i want to have enough clearance to the bump stop. The new tyres are just over 1" taller than the old 275's
