65 Impala coupe

After selling my Silverado recently i thought what should i do with the cash instead of giving it to my partner and watch it dissapear into the house. I managed to get it past her that i wanted another car to put the young ones in and use as a family cruiser. (can't do that with my 64 corvette)
I did cost me in other ways

When i was 16 i bought my first US car being a 1966 Belair. This was really the entry level for me at the time, i think i paid $600 30 years ago and it only needed a new engine as it was blown up. That car is long gone.
I have always loved the full size chevs and decided the 65 Impala Coupe was the model i liked most.

I asked Adrian at Classic Custom Imports to hopefully locate one on his trip and he did.
Its a super clean 65 fully restored to an excellent condition with factory air that works a treat. (well it did after i put a new compressor on)

Adrian did a great job in purchasing a clean car and took care of all details and it landed safely in very quick time.
Here are some picks of my new family cruiser, its not fast but its damm clean and rides like a true boat

WOW that is in nice shape memories anyway, it would look great with a set of torque thrusts or V45s (if you like that kind of thing)

It was not an intensional white theme, I actually wanted a blue car but it was bit hard to pass up at the price and condition.
I had my eye on another car and when Adrian inspected it he found a few nastys that were not evident in the photos I had been sent.

Thanks guys for your comments, I actually hope to get out a bit more now that I can fit baby seats in the back.

Yep it came with the 14" x 5 wheels and factory caps. I have lowered the front 50mm to get the stance right with rally wheels so it would look really low when I fit the 14"s at some stage.

Hi Dave, I thought about auto drags but a set of rally's came up at a good price. Auto drags are my favourite wheel for muscle cars.

Looks super nice Rowan - nothing wrong with white cars.
You should be able to sneak in a a brake upgrade on the basis of safer for the kiddies.
