Ok this is my recent purchase I flew to Adelaide last Wednesday to look at this and bought it. It is now in transit to my place where it will be regoed and driven. Only immediate plans are to fit extractors and a decent exhaust . As the motor is stock right down to Rochester carb. Then a stereo upgrade single speaker and tape player aren't really my plans as this will be regular driver. That may change as leaving things stock is my usual intention that always fails.

Last Wednesday when I flew into Adelaide to look at it and take it for a drive it was raining so yes it was fun. Tracking shows I should have it by next Monday hopefully before then though.

Never seen a Kommando. Yeah, looks exactly like a HG. Explains why when I did a google on it, Holdens came up.

I notice it's RHD - is it South African or converted ?

Its as it was built in South Africa in Port Elizabeth. They were sent over in CKD Kits. As I have said has a 250 Chevy 6 trans is a Trimatic but with SBC bolt pattern as Chevy 6 share this with V8. Diff is a Borg Warner which Holden didn't fit in Australia till the VK Commodore. Speedo is KMH and Radio is AM/FM delco .

Cool.

I had a Chevy 250 I was going to drop into my El Camino. It's sold now, but I still have the Offy manifold and 465 Holley with linkages and air filter if you are interested.
