has bodyfiller in hood(bonnet)and trunk(boot) suspect else where but dont know.

has no engine or trans.windscreen has a crack would need replacing.a few of the front chrome trim bits would need replacing as they look average

have bits togo with impala that Iv collected over last 2 years

a pair of centre pillar plastic trims in good cond, set of gauges, glove box lid, grill that needs some work and a twin piston disc brake kit that fits under 15s with braided brake lines from ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/BIG-BRAKE-KIT...item27b6e7466e

Your more than welcome to look at the car or get someone to look at for you in fact I would prefer it so you know exactlly what you getting. Car is for sale due to buying another project that my wife likes as she dislikes the impala.

Women. Considered trading her in instead for a more agreeable make & model?

Is that phone # right? Looks like you've either got a digit too many or a digit missing.

Good luck with the sale mate. Even without a motor & tans you should have no problem selling it. Definitely a demand for this car at the moment.

All the best!

yeah, i think it would probably help if it was running.

but dont worry, like Russ said, its in demand at the moment.

i've got one myself which took a while to find.

have you posted on any other sites?

also check out the cars for sale and wanted section of this forum.

most guys on here already have single or multiple projects going at the moment and havent the time to spare for another.
and, i think your in Camaro country haha

good luck with the sale.

Post it elsewhere.
You have a limited market here even though everyone here likes the car there may not be too many in the market for an Impala.

Agreed with the fellas above. Most people on here already have their money-pits, and those that don't, already have their eyes on a specific make-model.

Regarding the price - $11.5k may be a stretch. You find the right buyer with the right desire & resources and it may sell at that price, but that might take some time.

I paid $12K for mine just a few months ago, and it had engine/trans - and was mechanically sound & well maintained. A very solid car. The only thing it needed was a re-spray - and even then, the only reason I have to re-spray it is because the guy I bought it off already started stripping it back. Rust was minimal.

Having spent the better part of a few years looking at these and contemplating buying every single one that came up for sale - I came to expect paying anywhere from $10k-$15k for a nice solid original driver, requiring little, if any, work. The closer to $20k and beyond asking prices, is where you start to get into the recently restored or ridiculously customised.

Between $5k-$10k is where I would have expected to find yours. Either decent bodies with little/no running gear - or decent running gear, with a bodies requiring a fair amount of work.

Having not seen the condition of the body, and going by your description - somewhere around $7k-$8k would be more realistic.

I think you would definitely have luck getting the money you are asking (or close to) elsewhere, the "Supernatural" factor makes this model and body style much more attractive.
Good luck!

Knowing Simon-I think he would have quickly worked that out.Maybe the forum should change its name to

http://gen1camaros.com.au

........so that people with an interest in ALL American muscle cars aren't mislead initially by the name and it can be used for people who are genuinely interested in more than just gen 1 Camaros.

Terry7,

I don't think he started the string to have everyone elses Impala's advertised in it

As us Aussies say "Fair go mate" ... do the right thing and remove your links and set up your own thread.

Hi, I was just emailed & told that my posting of 67 Impala 4 door hardtop cars here was not nice.
Truly, So sorry!

He has a great car & it's very rare, I know, we restored one already & would have loved to have had access to another car just for parts!!

This was not meant to be intrusive! Please advise how to delete this post as I am new and do not see how to delete this.

Sorry to have offended anyone as this was not my intention!

my son's Impala is here if you want to see it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCpiI...1&feature=plcp

We just returned from the Supernatural convention in Nashville TN where they asked us to bring one of our 1967 Chevy Impala 4 door hardtop cars. All the stars from the TV show signed it & sat in it with my son & had their pictures taken. It was totally awesome)

Here are a few links to other peoples uploads. If anyone wants links to ours when we upload them let me know.

Here is a clip of Dean coming on stage just seeing his "Baby".

For now here is a clip someone took of us leaving the Opryland Hotel after the convention.

I will delete all my posts if you will please tell me how. I just thought other people with or interested in this car would appreciate the info, it took us 3 years to locate our first one & it' only getting harder!
