Storm damage

Well you Melbourne guys had your turn, yesterday was our turn.

Did anyones car get damaged?

My shed got flooded along with the back yard so everything on the floor got wet. The old man works at a car yard in Ossie Park and all their cars got damaged. He had to drive the staff home in the shuttle bus cause all their personal cars got smashed to.

Yeah I think the nothern corridor copped the worst of it. My mum works at Joondalup shopping centre and it got evacuated from flooding and the roof of Kmart falling in.

Jacobs ladder in Kings Park is pretty nasty to, the apartmens there are full of mud and the firefighters couldn't get the doors open to see if anyone was burried in there.

Been on the road around town doin security and electrical service all day.
I have seen some pretty wasted cars around. Every time you stop at a set of lights you can see dents on car boots roofs and hoods. Some are minor but some looked like a hammer wielding maniac spent half an hour going to town on them. Saw heaps of cars with no rear glass.
Fortunatly for us the misses had the day off and the hundy series was parked up in the garage. That was the nastiest hail ( more like ice boondies ) i have ever seen.

Our patio copped a bit of water but luckily I have a squeegy broom and just helped it along by pushing it onto the yard... Need to give the patio a high pressure clean now as the limestones a bit dirty...

The new shed floor got wet due to a section that is dug out onfront of the doors as it's awaiting liquid limestone... It turned into a mini pool and flowed under the doors into the shed. Other than that we were fine.. Our neighbors seemed to cop it though. They got flooded through the house as their driveway slopes down into their garage and filled the house etc...

Clayton - Didn't realise you worked there. I drive past there twice a day. Been checking out that new Commodore being done as a Brock replica in that dark blue.

The wife and her sister drowned a brand new focus on the way into hospital to see me... Had to get out the windows apparently... bus went by and the wave caused the car to float away...

The misses grandad ( 80 years old) thought he would pull his camry out of the car port and onto the drive to "give the old girl a wash" using mother nature to do all the hard work. Expecting only rain, he now has a white Camry "Special Golf ball edition". It did remove the dirt though!
Seriously bad judgement call. Poor bugger.
