72 Camaro Project

Hi All,

Its been a long time since i first posted here and my quick tidy up turned into project WTF was i thinking . My original posts are no longer here so will start again as after 7 years i have finally found my motivation to get this car done

The car was nice to drive and looked ok it was RHD converted . Has a 350 roller motor AFR HEADS, SCAT CRANK etc etc, turbo 400 3500/stall, 9 inch 4.11,s.

I rapidly turned this car

Into this shell

I decided that i would have the car dipped and that's how it stayed for the last 7 years after i did this.

I purchased lots of parts and all panels, DSE mini tub kit and subframe connectors new glass virtually the whole car at the time from USA.I found a guy here in SA that was a an importer Cars, Boats, Jet skis, whatever he could fill a container with.I would just have my stuff delivered to his USA warehouse and shipped to me a very good rates. and all have been in storage up until October last year.

The DSE tubs are now fitted, new boot with fuel cell and parcel shelf fabricated, rear seat frames trimmed to suit.

Tire and rim mock up, i am sticking with my 15 x 10 Autodrags old school muscle-car look and running a 325 x 50 Nitto tire.

Didn't use my original day code 9 inch , decided on a new 31 spline solid mount full floater with OEM ford discs from RODTECH.

Have now moved to front of the car, doing flat firewall, hidden wipers motor, remote brake booster, Will post progress of this soon

Firewall/Front Floors

Ok as you can see there were a lot of holes drilled in the firewall, and top left hand corner a big hole where the steering column bracket was what looked torn off. This was hidden with fiberglass.

There were a few small rust spots in front floor pans so while firewall was off the floors were done as well.
