Gee, I hope they're paying for the replacements..

BTW, the bolts are generally not chrome anyway. They are zinc with stainless caps on them.
Most bumber bolts are 3/8"unc and 7/16"unc.
Do you have a the Factory Assmebly Instruction Manual for your Impala?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/CHEVROLET-19...f4dd38&vxp=mtr
Then you would see the part numbers for those bolts and just buy new ones through AMK..

http://www.amkproducts.com/bulk2.asp...e=Bumper+Bolts

As for non-bumper bolts.. you could have anything from 3/8"unc to 1/2" or 9/16".
55 bolts sounds like a lot. Brackets and all, yeah?

Warwick,
Further to what Steve said, one of the key reasons that chroming bolts is not a good idea is the chance of hydrogen embrittlement. Tool steel is most susceptible to it, however the correct heating process before and after chroming avoids the condition. The problem is, does the chromer that you choose to use, do the correct pre and post heating?
At the end of the day it is just easier and more reassuring to use stainless ones, if you want shiny bolts. (remember to use anti seize)
