Radiator doesn't fit :(

Hi guys

I bought this kit ages ago so it's probably too late to return. Basically I have my engine installed with Serp kit in and went to fit the radiator but it's too deep by almost 2 inches with the fans! I found a label on the radiator box that says it's for an LS3, So I dont know whether I have the wrong kit, or whether there is a different kit for a BB or whether this combo just wont work. The radiator is from PRC through Speedtech. Just to help me research this, What radiators are BB guys using. I found shallower, less powerful fan (bout 1000 cfm each), but didn't really want to alter this if I can sell it complete, or swap it for something that will fit. Cheers

What if u fit the radiator first then the accessories and drive setup?.
On my setup the highest point on fans sits under the alternator and pump.

If it's 2" too deep....not much you can about it.

Roadstar in Sydney have a large range of alum radiators, ph 02 9477 7666, some direct fit for certain cars.

Thanks guys. I found some slim fans that will fit directly which will save me 35mm. I can pull the Rad support forward a bit giving me more room. If I need more room I can put the pulleys on the lathe and flatten out the fronts of them. Think I will be playing with millimetres, but I'm fairly confident we can make it fit.

Justin, you have the wrong kit.

An LS block is about 2-3 inches shorter than a Big Block. That's where your problem is. Wrong Application.

Yes, I know, although they sell these as a universal kit also. Though the fans that were supplied are too deep. I have some narrower fans on the way. that should make things easier.
