Queensland car club

Hey guys. I am moving back to Queensland in a couple of weeks. The Camaro is almost ready for the road. Can anyone recommend a club up there involved in the club rego scheme. Would prefer Brisbane southside.

Gazza is thinking about the Qld Chev Club, they run the sunday with the Qld Shoebox Club. You can find the details for the chev club easy on the net.
If you don't want to do club meetings, Qld branch of ASMF might be an option for you. There are others like that to.
I joined a club years ago when I got rego, haven't been to any meetings since and I am still legit with Qld Transport for club rego. It all depends on how you like your clubs and what you are looking for. I can definately do without having to sit through the club meeting BS.

Thanks guys. I will check them out. My house is in Logan so the Eliminators sound close, but I will look at the others also.
I am not really into rallys ending with a picnic in the park. I want to be able to take the car for a cruise up or down the coast on the weekend, the odd swapmeet and carshow plus be able to take it out to Willowbank. Once I get a few $$ together I want to build a new motor and do some street meets and nostalgia type drags.

Yep. Proud to be a Bogan. lol.
I've only ever lived in the Mt Gravatt area and Rochedale for 44 years. I then came to Melbourne for two years. You don't realise what you have until it's gone. I have really struggled finding basic parts around here. I had to drive an hour across town just to buy paint. The boys on the East side have it a little better.
We are so lucky to have the industry that is in the area. It might not be like the late 80's when there were about four speed shops in Moss st alone, but it's still good.
Willowbank Raceway is just up the road and the Gold Coast is a stones throw away.
Hmmm. Little bit homesick.

" Veteran & Vintage Touring Car Club "
My very special friend is a member of this club and it is really having the different types of cars of all brands including the most luxurious brand cars. My company is providing the crowd security services in car exhibitions all over Australia and we are organizing all the exhibitions for Veteran & the Vintage Touring Car Club in Brisbane.
