There not giving them away are they! you would be looking at $250K+ by the time you landed one here even if it was the most basic one. then there would be all the hoops of trying to get it registered over here as it would have to meet all the current ADR's, though might be able to skirt some as an individually built vehicle.

You could build one to your taste (& pocket) , it would be easier.

Shelby apparently uses a bit of a loophole in the US with their continuation Cobras, you buy them as a roller and install the engine yourself, that lets you license them under the US equivalent of an individually constructed vehicle and not have to comply with current safety standards.
