Just looking at fitting a 2 1/4 inch stainless system on my RHD 68 Parisienne. I can buy a stainless Flowmaster dual pipe kit from Summit for a total price including freight for $721 AU. Just wondering whether your system was around this price to purchase and fit up? I can weld the system up myself so no cost there. I'm just wondering whether it would be cheaper to get one made up in OZ or buy one from the States. This price doesn't include mufflers. Cheers.

If memory serves me correctly, my setup was around $1400 - that includes X-Force mufflers, but does not include extractors.

However mine was only 2". The extractors I bought had a 2" outlet, so I went with 2" pipe to avoid more mods/cost.

Hey Russ,

I see those X Force mufflers you have fitted to your Impala are, Inlet side an Offset configuration but I can't see what the outlet side is from the photo's. Is the Outlet side of the muffler an Offset configuration or does the outlet part of the muffler sit in the centre of the muffler?

What I'm trying to say is, are your mufflers a Centre/Offset configuration or an Offset/Offset configuration?

I might be swapping out the OEM tires soon, and Im wondering about summer tires vs. all seasons.

I know people say all seasons are bad, but can we be more specific? Are we talking about adding tenths of a second at the track, or will it significantly impact daily driving enjoyment?

Im leaning towards summers, though it sure would be nice to be able to drive when its cold if the roads are clear.
