67 and 68 had regular seats. No headrests at all.

69 got adjustable head rests.

70's and maybe 71's had adjustables too. Around 72 not quite sure when, the headrests became integrated. And the seatbacks looked like tombstones then. Or at least thats what everyone calls them.

Hi Guys
Recently arrived to Melbourne (3 years here in Australia) form Chile<--------that is in south america if you don't know. Have gone through hell to get my muscle car here in melbourne. ( I thank God almost everyday for allowing me bring my car and my wife) It is a 1970 chevelle. It is basically standard throughout.
I'm married and have a young daughter and another one on the way so it is difficult to save money for my toy. My ultimate dream is getting her on the road again someday.
I have never taken her on the road yet because I live in Dandenong for the moment I'm afraid that it will be stolen. So I just start the engine every now and then in the garage and dream.

Welcome (name?). What is the car scene like in Chile? One of the last places I would of imagined to find a Chevelle. Any pics

My name is Anthony. And about 5 years ago you could get a cool muscle car for about $3.000.- Australian dollars. Until Chinese company's started buying them all for scrap metal. I was lucky to buy some real cool cars.
I'm putting a photo of my chevelle and a 1947 desoto that is still back home.
All of the work on my Chevelle is done by me so it isn't a show car. And it is pretty much standard.

..and the scrap is worth what in comparison? ..if only they had 1/2 a brain..

Hey, we should kick back with a few cervezas and I'll play you my Margarita Prrrrracatan CD. (-but not too loud 'cos the neighbors might think we're up to something!)

The Desoto might make it one day hopefully. It's my Dads pride and joy. I haven't got any friends yet that are into american muscle cars, so if any of you guys are doing any work on the weekend to your cars let me know and I will be more than happy to help you guys out in anything. (I'm not a mechanic, but have some basic understanding)........

Happy Christmas to all of you by the way and may God bless your sweet muscle cars.

Is the Chevelle driving? What engine and options if you don't mind?

PS; God hates my Camaro. I know it.

Cool.
Pardon my ignorance, but is a Polara the same body as a Dart?
Gonna do the Hemi as well?
Welcome aboard Matt!
