You gotta see them coming off the machine as you order them. That's when they are awesome. Otherwise, mediocre.
I'm with Steve on "see it cooked or forget it" ...

Mmmm ...

BAD topic ... not dietary / slimming at all !!

May I suggest that if the weather is fine next Sunday we all meet at Doncaster Inn or Manhattan Hotel around 11am for a cruise to Coldstream.

Then the fun begins!

All will need to order a minimum of 6 freshly cooked jam and sugar donuts for a donut eating contest to see how many donuts can be eaten by one self without licking your lips.

It seems that there are a few donut connoisseurs amongst us. It's one thing to know how crusty or warm or golden they should be but it's a totally different matter as far as eating without licking your chops

Probably easier to meet at Manhattan at 11am.

We have two choices Cruise to Coldstream and risk the donut van not being there as it was when the healesville car show was on 2 weeks ago or take the safety option of a trip to Tooradin just past the airfield.

We should be able to have a laugh while trying to be lick free and also watch the sky diving as well.

Your choice. It's just a slight concern that The van wasn't at Healesvile morning or afternoon 2 weeks ago.

I'm geeting a craving for Donuts and don't want to be dissappointed.

Ben & I spoke to the Coldstream guy last week. He's been there a loong time. I would be surprised if he was gone this weekend.
However, I kinda want to give the Olympic one a try.
Umm.. you know, we can do both..
