Wont be going Steve.

Going to the Isabella & Marcus Fund car show. At least my $20 goes to a worthwhile charity - not into a rich club for millionaires.

Good idea Vic.
The Babe and I went and saw Kooza last week, also held at Flemington, and after spending $400 on just 2 tickets, we get there and these VRC Arseholes sting us a further $20 to park on grass for 2.5 hours.
Fxck 'em.
I think I'll see you in Chelsea.

That's the way Steve!! I'm so over Flemington, just a disaster to get out of and then get to the Eastern Fwy. Beer Fest in St Kilda for me, via public transport.

Hmm, sounds like the world is ending at Flemington.
If you enter and exit from Langs Rd, no traffic.
Park up at the pokies, no $20.

I was just going to write my experience at Flemington when I came across your post.My girlfriend and I went to see Kooza back in January and we were also stung the 20 bucks. We went to see Cirque du soleil at Flemington 2 years ago and parking back then was free.I think it might be time for The All American Day to find a new venue and stick it up the snobs, maybe CDS should as well.

Kooza was a fantastic experience by the way...Anyone who hasn't been to one of these shows is certainly missing out I reckon.

I agree with the others the parking fee of $20 is a Rip Off, I have been going for years as a Show car and with family, no parking fee. I believe they started the parking fee last year, Yes there are Free parking options but kind of a long walk in to the show.

I agree find a new Venue, They tried Mornington Racecourse 1 year, the Drive to Flemington/through Flemington scares me worried about having a car accident with some uninsured ethnic/you know the kind folks from the housing commission towers.

I'm going to the Revving the river anyway.

It's been $20 at Flemington as long as I've been going, since 2012.

Mornington didn't work, they didn't even go there, canned it and went back to Flemington.

I love the size, scale and variety of that show, but didn't go last year and won't be going this year

Spectator parking Chris?
It's been a few years since I've been, but don't recall it this expensive when I've been..

I have no issue at all with the display-car entry at that price which pays to set up and host and provide trophies etc.. But $20 to park your regular sh!tbox for a few hours is just disgusting.
I can park undercover in the middle of the CBD in a much better facility for the entire day for less money in loads of places.
This baton up the rear end should at least include show entry, which it doesn't.

I'm taking my Esky to the Chelsea show, which is right near the beach..
It's cool, black and looks like a Camaro. ..it sounds like one too.
