Good job Evan. I hope to have mine on the 60's site later today. Was just too stuffed when i got home, after packing up and storing all the gear at the clubrooms. Yay, it's all gone from my place finally!!!

Steve, sounds like you've let a butcher go to town with your paint. If they didn't go through the clear, you should be able to save it. Grab a machine/pad/polish kit from Waxit for a few hundred & have a go. Time consuming but well worth the effort. I'd never let anybody else go near my paint!

Good luck with it!

Evan

I think the quote is somewhat overboard, but there is no doubt the paint polish is horrible. Jerks scratched and chipped and broke emblems and antenna as well.
Over it.
I should have saved my money and painted it with epoxy by brush.

Steve I am with Evan on this if you are willing to give it a go, is it in 2 pack or acrylic? if it is in acrylic I can help/teach you how to bring it back to what you are after. I have no experience in 2 pack paint correction but maybe someone could advise. I do have a mate who is a quality detailer if that is what is required.

2 pack is easy to correct. Just need the correct pad/compound combo. I use various Lake Country pads with Scholl Concepts compounds. Amazing results!

Evan.

Sorry to hear about your paint woes Steve. After all the work you've put in, its a real shame. I agree with Evan, give it a go. What can you lose?

Back to the American Breed photos; some great photos there Evan. Love the close up shots. You have a real eye for detail Evan
