Very nice Jamie and welcome to the forum.
If SA rules are anything like Vic's, the blower will be too high. (Well, not the actual blower..)
Here, (going by memory) you need to see an un-interupted white line crossing the road at 11 m from the steering wheel. Even if you sat up on an old A-Z phone book, I don't like your chances.

If you have any money left over, perhaps you can ditch those Demons and fit fuel injection. Might gain you a few inches.

You have built exactly what I would of loved to if I had the money. Magic.
Yes mate i have seen this ute and its engineered with the blower so im really hoping with a bit of luck it will be all good

thanks for your comment cheers

Hi Jamie.
Just trying to work out how high my Weiand 671 is going to sit finished.
  • Your big block is it on SB mounts or BiG Block mounts
  • have you got a spacer between the carbs at all.
  • is this high deck height or low deck height.
I am going to sit my carbs end to end for the street, going more old school look.

Hi mate,

my motor is on big block mounts, no spacer between the carbys and its a high deck height , cant really tell you much more at this stage as the car is getting some custom pipes made up..

Good luck with it all !!
