Summit racing order
For anyone interested and doing orders with Summit, I thought you might be interested in the following experience.
I ordered a torque converter from Summit last thursday, selected the Global delivery network for freight. Latest tracking shows it's still in USA, about to leave. After checking local vendors prices, I then ordered a yoke about 2-3 hours later the same day and selected the iParcel option for freight, roughly $5 difference in price. It was dropped by the courier to my door a couple of hours ago. I've never received a parcel from USA that quickly before. I'm actually waiting on something else that was shipped from Florida with USPS a bit over 2 weeks ago. The tracking shows it left Sydney since last Monday. (10 days to get to North Qld, WTF!) |

Yeah, Aust Post is a joke. I have had three money orders go missing, at the time we taxpayers were paying some Arab $5m to 'improve' services.

iParcel is part of UPS now, as for the others, it can certainly be a bit hit and miss if the use Australia Post as their distributor at this end.
