The new guy

Hey everyone, new to the site so I better introduce meself.

I've nearly finished rebuilding a old '82 JuddCraft ski boat so I've been casually looking for a new project for the last few months.
I've norrowed what I want down to a '70 Chevelle 2door Malibu.
I'm looking for something around the higher end of driver quality.
From what I've seen here I've come to the right place.

Cheers Jim

Hi Jim, welcome aboard...
You shouldn't have too much trouble finding a reasonable 70 Chevelle, getting popular.
Best of luck.

Heres the last project.
Bought it 5 years ago.
Gear box grenaded at the end of the first year. Then done a head gasket.

So i ripped the water logged transom and bearers and refiberglassed to suit a MerCruiser Sterndrive.
Rebuilt the engine, new piston, rings, bearings, valves, valve seats, decked heads and block, board block out one size.
Cleaned the trailer up.
Found the oringinal transom assembly off the Titanic cleaned it up.
Bought a gearbox off a wreak.
Resprayed the hull.
Made some over transom headers but im not real happy with how the water is set up in them so in the next few weeks I'll make another set.
All thats left is a lil more coolent pipe work to the exhausts and its ready to hit the water.

So yeah I'm ready for a new project very soon.
