My other toy is a '68 HK PanelVan....Looked like this when I bought it....

It was fully stripped for a freshen up but instead copped a whole lot of damage from a painter who closed up and disappeared, I was lucky to get it back albeit in a very average state......pic below, a lot of the damage isn't easy to see in the shot but you get the general idea

Water under the bridge now and I have moved on, and now the Camaro is pretty done as done is, the van is back underway and a full re-build has officially started...no deadline yet, just going to be getting through it as quickly as the $$ permit, custom panel and paint are the first step.

The old 318 is pretty basic and has less power than a proper M3 6 cylinder, plus it is backed by an old school 4 speed single rail box, but it is still a lot of fun to drive and was built on a fairly tight budget

Love both of these.
I used to have an E36 with a 2.5L that handled like nothing else and sounded like an M3 (minus 1500rpm). Great cars. Maintenance can get expensive though haha.

Tell me about it ... just sold an E36 M3 as it needed heaps of work which was beyond my skills to fix. And the parts prices are ridiculous.

I've solved the issue of parts prices with my E36 as you might have noticed above.
