Best Year Ever

I've been thinking, what was the best year for cars made.

I mean of all manufacturers what year had the most desirable cars.

For me it's a toss up between 61 and 69

1961:
I love my Buick
But I think about the Pontiacs, the Chevy's, the Corvettes, the Ford's (Sunliners...drool, 61 Lincoln's start of the gangstar era). Olds, love the Dynamic 88's. The Fury and 300G from the Mopar stable. I could go on.

1969:
Every muscle car from the big 3. Hard to find a bad one in the bunch.

For me 61 would be my fav year, mainly cause I love my 68 Camaro and wouldn't own a 69.

OK so what's everyone's view....fav year for most desirable cars across all brands.

Yeah I go along with 1970.

You had a few good years after then started going downhill even though i would be happy with a 78 Trans Am Bandit.

1967 was a great year both here and abroad for the falcon. 2nd year of the 3rd generation falcon in the US and the mighty XR here in oz! What is sad though is my 67 sports coupe is worth less than the equivalent 4 door oz produced vehicle both being v8's

Two years in particular for me. 49 and 69. 49 for just awesome deco styling and 69 for outright muscle.

1969.
The best Camaro and it inspired Plymouth to build a good looking Barracuda the following year.

And an even better looking Challenger that same year.
