New daily ... It's a US car and has muscle , so ...

My first Mopar.

(Not my car, but same , same - too cold to take a pic now)

Tried to figure out what the polar opposite of a Beemer E36 M3 was and computer says 'Jeep SRT8'.

Yeah, wanted something pretty different to any other daily I have owned and decided on an SUV with an auto and V8. Can't see myself driving a Camry just yet and didn't want another Falcon or Commodore.

Second choice was a Territory Turbo.

Have a friend who did F and I at a Jeep dealer. She reckons first option to tick is the extended warranty.

The way I see it is that any 10 year old car is gonna be expensive to fix if something major goes wrong. I'm not ready to drive a camry yet. May as well have some fun. More I drive, the more I like it.

Relatively cheap and easy to fix if you buy your parts from RockAuto, just steer clear of the dealership and you will be fine.

Good to have something that you can drag race, circuit race and tow a car trailer with all in the same package.

PS: I have a 2010 SRT8 300C, so I'm probably biased. The wife has a 2007 300C sedan and my mother has a 2008 300C wagon.

Like Agent Mulder, I wanted to believe ... but after reading 6 pages of the extended warranty fineprint and it says it doesn't cover "any component failure attributed to Normal Wear & Tear, ..."

On an 11 year old car that is pretty much anything.

Plus I worked in the service dept of a Jeep/Chrysler dealership for 6 days and saw enough of how the dealership works.

Yeah , Rockauto is the go.

I believe in the US there is a 4WD version of the SRT8 300C - I assume the drivetrain is the same. It looks pretty basic.

There is/was a AWD version of the 300, but not the SRT8 version.

Buying a Camry means you either have no idea or couldn't care less about cars. Totally uninspiring.

Unless of course..... it's a Sportivo!
