Thanks Al, not sure about '2nd to none' you've set the bar pretty damn high!!
Although it looks good in the photos, the paint job was a 10 footer and was pretty hard to keep up the standards parked next to the 'Coupe"

Looks bloody good Peter. What are you using to strip the paint off?

Hey Luke, just plain old paint stripper and elbow grease mate.
Gave it a once over with 80 grit and a finishing sander.
Then a coat of metal prep to avoid rusting.

Latest update, off to the panel shop in a week or so.
They've been pretty busy lately so i've had time to get a few things prepped before it goes.

That's it - my next project is being finished in bare metal with clear coat - far too cool

Pete, your Nova is so on point it’s not funny. These have to be one of my all-time favourite rides, and with the upgrades you're doing its going to handle beautifully. An early Nova will be my next project.

Can’t believe how straight the body work! What’s your thoughts on colour, back to Ranga?

Thanks Lyndsay, i do love the look of these things but theres just not many around, i reckon i saw only half a dozen in the 6-7 years it was on the road.
If you do get one, I've got plenty of left over parts, the only thing i haven't replaced in this is the rear seat frame and the body.
And if its anything like your Camaro, it'll be an absolute cracker too !!

After a lot of indecision, it will be returning to the 'Ranga' but with some additional bling but you'll have to wait a couple of months for a preview.

Bondall's Ranex Rustbuster Al, wipe on-wipe off.
My painter recommended it and it works a treat.
You can also soak rusty or dirty nuts/bolts/parts and it cleans them up too.

Thanks Greg, I would like to think so, but.......
It'll be coming back in primer with the engine bay painted.
Then install the engine & driveline, exhaust, wiring, finish the brakes, fit the cooling system and the rest of the suspension etc etc.
Then back for final paint......and then finish the rest.
Well that's the theory anyway.

My OCD took over today....
Filled in the bumper bolt holes, straightened up the lower lip and generally made it look pretty. Will fit it to the body & close up the gaps when the Ranga returns.
