Hi,
Not sure if you're still chasing a diff but I have a C10 12 Bolt I think it may be early 70's has had brakes recond not too long ago.
One vented drum is missing and the other has been machined with a bit of chatter in it.
The guy I bought it of said it had been overhauled by chevpower here in Perth and hadn't been driven very much since.
I was going to modify and fit in 68' Firebird but I've changed my mind.
I'm chasing $500 for it, I will remove rear cover and take some pic's if your're interested.
Cheers
Brett

Russ I think diff width is different between 67-70 (narrower) & 71 on?

Hey Brett, I have updated my original ad.

Needs to be a 69 or earlier diff (back to 63). 1970 onward is a narrower width.

The changeover happened during the 1970 production cycle so there are early 1970 trucks with the wider diff. Can you measure your diff?

Measurements are exactly 57" (4'9" / 1448mm) from outer flange to outer flange:

Inside of flange measures: 56 1/2" (56.5inch / 4ft 8.5inch / 1433mm)

Roger.

You are aright. I forgot to come back and update the original thread.

63-69 are the same. Some time in 1970 they changed (narrower). So some early built 70 trucks may have the right diff.
