Motor Trend On Demand

So USM has guided me many times over the last decade, including an introduction to Roadkill on YouTube some years ago. Like most, I got hooked and from there explored the other Motor Trend channel shows with delight.

But recently I got sick of the YouTube ads & buffering etc so to the free trial of Motor Trend on Demand, but didn't think I'd stick around and pay for something you can get for free. Man was I wrong... I'm so hooked and there are so many shows it's crazy. Sure some only have a handful of episodes, but who cares - Would take an age to view them all.

So what are the recommendations from other MTOD subscribers?

I've already finished all the Roadkills, Roadkill Garages, HotRod Garages, Junkyard Golds and most Wheeler Dealers. House of Muscle is next, but is just the one season so far.

I'm hooked on Musclecar right now. It's not MTOD I don't think, but it is on Foxtel. Not the big budget builds, but simple stuff most of us can tackle. My only thing is I'd like them to go into a bit more detail on some of the stuff they do. I really like it. It's a much older show, I think it stopped production way back in 2013...but a lot of what they did then still relevant now

My subscription came due, I thought I'd give it a miss and see how bad the withdrawal was.

I miss a few of the shows that I used to wait for new episodes on, but life hasn't ended, means I get out in the shed a bit more.

I really like Misfit Garage, Street Outlaws, Engine Masters. CarFellas is good for a laugh.

The show Chris is talking about - Musclecar - is on PowerBlock TV. Its an app you can get for Apple TV. lots of other good stuff on that too.

You need a poll option of “I’m keen, but need that $8 for car parts”.

Funny about that ... If I am on my phone or ipad I get that message. But on Apple TV just about every show is available.

ie. Street Outlaws and Fast 'n' Loud.

Set your VPN to somewhere in the US. Everything will be watchable then.

Plenty of it Darren. But seems to be more the smaller series rather than the main ones that have broadcast rights tied up with the big players. Still good for a look!

I wouldn’t bother with the smart TV, most are rubbish operating systems, just get a Google box or similar.

....but I "NEED" a new TV (that's what I am telling the bride anyway )

I have been thinking about Chromecast, I have some friends who use it with good reports.
Just got NBN so that should make the experience better. (?)
